A senior member of the Aberdeen Standard Investments global property management committee, Andrew Allen manages a team of analysts in the UK, Norway, Germany, Singapore and Switzerland. He is responsible for the design, development and implementation of investment research. Prior to joining Aberdeen Standard Investments, he worked for Cordea Savills as the head of research and strategy. He was also a fund director at Charities Property Fund.
After working in London for CORDEA SAVILLS for more than a decade, Andrew Allen joined the company in 1997. He previously served as Finance Director and Deputy CEO before becoming CEO in 2009. Before joining AEW, he was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Cambridge University Land Economy.
Before joining the company, Andrew Allen worked for CORDEA SAVILLS and held various investment research roles. He is now responsible for product strategy and delivery in Europe. He will work closely with the Research and Strategy team, and the industry teams within the Savills group. He will report to Alex Jeffrey, the global chief executive and will join the Global Executive Committee. In addition, he will also join the group’s board of directors.
