The coronavirus has cost Geneva’s convention center millions of francs as one event after the other was canceled or postponed. Palexpo CEO Claude Membrez doesn’t expect a complete turnaround before next year and says even then the schedule may not be as busy as before the health crisis. He fears newer events that don’t have a strong following may disappear.
