Switzerland’s women’s football league canceled its season in the wake of the coronavirus shutdown, but Tatjana Haenni, who heads the game at the Swiss Football Association, doesn’t think this will slow the sport’s recent momentum. “I don’t think the coronavirus has really hit women’s football badly, for the moment, but we will see if there are any consequences in the near future,” she says. “I personally hope that people see the value of women’s football now in all these discussions about being more realistic, being more down to earth, being more true to your values.”
