Swiss airports prepare for a new era of travel

You won’t have to wear a mask, but you will need to keep your distance and you may need a temperature check depending on your destination. The protective measures being put into place at airports across Europe are the biggest changes in travel since the post-9/11 security precautions. In Zurich, the new norm includes cleaning robots, disinfectant stations, and more social distancing at check-in counters and departure gates. In Geneva, masks are strongly recommended and arrows on the ground direct passengers to streamline traffic flows.
